#3143- Breakfast Cookies

Can we all agree that there is no such thing as a breakfast cookie? It’s a cookie, it’s a cookie, it’s a cookie, no matter when you eat it.  Just because you add oatmeal to it doesn’t necessarily make it any healthier. Also, muffins are just cupcakes without frosting, so let that sink it.

Ok, so that being said, Corey found this recipe for breakfast cookies  from Fit Men Cook and we’ve been making them for weeks.  I don’t always feel guilty eating them for a quick breakfast or giving some to the kids because they have all good, whole ingredients and the only sugar comes from the applesauce. Or if you put chocolate in them.

Add whatever you want, we add Enjoy Life chocolate chips, craisins and pecans and use almond flour.

They are hearty and delicious. Enjoy!
